We believe that learning and growing in faith is a lifelong journey. Our church provides opportunities for all ages to explore the teachings of Jesus, deepen biblical understanding, and nurture Christian values through fellowship and guided study.

This group meets in the North Lounge on a Tuesday morning from 10.30 am to 11 am for tea, coffee and chat. Then from 11am till 12noon we open our Bibles and read a passage together. We are currently reading our way through the Book of Acts, amazed at the growth and challenges the early church faced. Reflecting on the early church challenges us to think about our own faith and how it applies in today’s world. We are a diverse group, not all from the Church of Scotland. We often see things from different angles and experiences but are on the same faith journey. Not everyone can attend every week and simply dip in and out when available. We have a regular attending group of ten and you would be made most welcome if you wished to attend. Please contact : alex.mitchell6@btiopenworld.com for more details.

This group meets in the North Lounge on Mondays from 3:00-4:00 during
term time with up to 6 children attending. Children can attend when in P4-
7. SU Scotland's "One Big Story" is our teaching material for two years. It
covers the major bible stories from Creation to Revelation with games,
activities, craft, and quizzes. The following 2 years we use SU Australia JAFFA material. Each week we begin with a snack and chat, have our bible time and end with a prayer. For further information please contact Liz at

There is currently one house group based in Muthill and several in Crieff with inter-church membership. Belonging to a house group is encouraged as a means of finding meaningful fellowship within in the church in a smaller group setting. They meet weekly or fortnightly. There is a full listing of house groups available from the Welcome Desk in the church. These groups not only provide fellowship but are for learning more about one’s faith through Bible study and video-led studies. A ready welcome awaits anyone interested in joining one of these groups, which are normally between 5-8 persons and guidance can be given on which would be most suited for you.

Plans are being formulated to hold an Alpha class over the winter for enquirers and others who wish to explore again the tenets of their faith. These sessions will be held of an evening once a week starting with dinner. There will be a team of leaders running the course with video presentations. For anyone, after the end of the course, who wishes to then consider joining the church, individual preparatory sessions can be provided.
